DevOps Engineer

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who can think about problems in a broader context and turn them into functional solutions, whether working independently or as part of a team. Responsibility, analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate effectively with both developers and clients are important to us.

We expect a desire to learn new things, improve existing processes, and actively come up with ideas on how to do things better. You will gradually take on a greater degree of independence, from solving tasks to designing and optimizing solutions with an emphasis on reliability, security, and long-term sustainability.

We are not a narrowly focused team. We work across various areas depending on project needs, from infrastructure and automation, through application operations and reliability, to technical consulting and delivery responsibility. That’s why we’re looking for someone who is flexible, has a broad perspective, and wants to contribute to the development not only of technical solutions but also of the entire team.

This isn’t a checklist of everything you need to know right from the start. It’s an overview of the technical areas, tools, and platforms you’ll gradually encounter here.

• Application Operations, Architecture & Delivery Ownership: Node.js, Express.js, React, Next.js; runtime configuration, debugging, application logs, background jobs, technical design, solution architecture, requirements gathering, estimates, quotes, migrations, client communication, delivery coordination.

What our technical ownership looks like

We don’t expect you to know everything. We’re looking for someone who can eventually navigate the entire technical landscape.

• We handle the design, operation, development, and optimization of infrastructure for development, testing, and production environments across cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructures.
• We handle the management and operation of Linux servers, troubleshooting, migrations, patching, hardening, and day-to-day operations in both cloud and on-premises environments.
• We operate containerized applications and Kubernetes platforms in both managed and self-managed environments; we handle deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, security, networking, storage, certificates, DNS, registries, backups, and cluster stability.
• We automate the provisioning, configuration, and management of environments so that changes are versioned, repeatable, controllable, and easily auditable.
• We build and maintain CI/CD, GitOps, and release processes from build to production deployment; we handle automation, release coordination, environment management, rollout/rollback strategies, and secure deployment across teams and projects.
• We design and manage the network, DNS, and edge layers of applications, including cloud networking, routing, TLS, reverse proxies, firewalls, VPNs, CDN/WAF/API Gateway configurations, service-to-service communication, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• We address security across infrastructure, the cloud, Kubernetes environments, CI/CD, and production operations—from access controls, secrets, and hardening to vulnerability scanning, WAF rules, monitoring, compliance evidence, access reviews, and remediation workflows.
• We build observability and reliability processes across production systems, ranging from metrics, logs, and traces, alerting, and synthetic monitoring to SLOs/SLAs, incident communication, postmortems, and long-term root cause analysis of incidents.
• We handle the operational aspects of databases, storage, and stateful services, ranging from backup/restore, PITR, migrations, and upgrades to replication, monitoring, slow query analysis, disaster recovery, performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Depending on the project, we also take ownership of the broader technical and delivery context, ranging from application operations, solution architecture, discovery, estimates, and proposal preparation to migrations, communication with the client or product team, and delivery coordination.

• Salary: Medior – from 2,000 €, Senior – from 3,000 €
• The employment contract is concluded for a fixed term of one year, and in the event of mutual satisfaction, we will be pleased to continue our cooperation.
